Grace Moreno Obituary
Grace Rose Moreno, age 86, of Wilton, CT and formerly of New Canaan passed away peacefully in her sleep on Sunday, April 25, 2021. Grace was born in New Canaan on July 2, 1934 to the late Rose Visconti and Pasquale Moreno. "Gracie" lived most of her life in New Canaan, growing up with three older brothers who she adored. She started her career in Manhattan and ultimately worked at Lone Star Industries in Stamford, CT where she rose to be the executive secretary to the chairman. A lifelong Yankee fan, Grace was known to watch every game she could and frequently celebrated her birthday at the stadium. She enjoyed her retirement living in Wilton, CT among friends and neighbors and with her beloved cat Lily. Grace was a warmhearted woman who referred to everyone she came in contact with as her friend. She will be dearly missed by her family and friends.
Survivors include four nieces, five grand nieces and nephews, and two great grand nephews. Grace is predeceased by her three brothers, Ralph, Louis and John Moreno.
A memorial service will be held at a later date and will be announced on THE GREGORY F. DOYLE FUNERAL HOME website.
