Ruth Wemple Obituary
She was a member of St Luke's Episcopal Church and an honorary member of the Altar Guild, The Stamford Norwalk Junior League, Wee Burn Country Club and the Royal Poinciana Club in Naples, Florida
She loved her family and friends She enjoyed taking pictures, playing tennis, traveling, dancing, writing poems, and playing duplicate bridge
She is survived by her daughter Lynn Ripley Biggers of Dallas Texas; her son Richard Carter Wemple of Norwalk, CT; grandchildren Michael Cooley and wife Monica of Dallas Texas, James Cooley and wife Janet of Tucson, Arizona, Douglas Hill and wife Stacey of Torrington CT; Great grandchildren Ripley Cooley, Taylor Van Donk, Joe Van Donk, Brandon Hill, Brian Petersen, and many more relatives and friends
The family will be forever indebted to Bozena (Bonnie) Szajkowska, Sonny Gail Wright and Lina Romano for years of kindness and loving care and to the many dedicated caregivers who gave her comfort and peace during her last years
Following a 1:00 Graveside Service at Spring Grove Cemetery, Darien, a Memorial Service will be held at St Luke's Episcopal Church, 1864 Boston Post Road Darien CT 06820 on Saturday July 14, 2012 at 2:00 PM Memorials made be made to: Vitas Hospice, 99 Hawley Lane Unit 1204, Stratford CT 06614
