Thomas Eiserman Obituary

Thomas Louis Eiserman April 1, 1960 August 20, 2022 Preceded in death: father, Ronald Eiserman; grandparents, Irene and Louis Eiserman, and Pauline and Ed Reist; mother and father-in-law, Carole and John Bremer; aunts and uncles. Survivors include his wife of 33 years, Sue; children, Sam (Ali) Eiserman, granddaughter Kellen; Jake (Anneliese) Eiserman, all of Omaha; mother, Nedra Eiserman, Eldridge, IA; brothers and sisters, Mark (Renee) Eiserman, Decatur, TX; Dianna (Greg) Yost, Nebraska City, Sandy (Dan) Radke, Eldridge, IA, and Mike (Lori) Eiserman, Indianapolis, IN. Step mother-in-law, Kay Bremer, Syracuse; Jerry (Ranae) Bremer, Lincoln; Lisa Lintner, Syracuse; Julie (Tim) Reimer, Brainard. Aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends. Born in Nebraska City, graduated from Lourdes Central Catholic high school in 1978. Tom earned his B.S. in Business Management in 1983, and Masters in Business Administration in 2007, both from University of Nebraska-Lincoln. He was a student manager for the Huskers football team from 1978-1982, and life-long fan of all sports, college and pro, but especially Husker football and NCAA men's basketball championships. He was a lover of live music, attending numerous concerts with friends, blues and jazz festivals over the years. Tom started his career in food management in Sheridan, WY, Brookline, MA, and Kansas City. Tom and Sue married in 1989, living in Kansas City until1998 when Tom accepted a position with Nebraska Methodist Health System. He retired after 23 years due to a diagnosis of Parkinson's disease. Tom was a devoted and loving family man who enjoyed life traveling, spending time with family, friends, and entertaining. He loved to cook and his artistic presentation of meals was unforgettable. He will be remembered for his kindness and genuine care for all those around him including co-workers he met during his career. In continuing his caring and compassionate nature, Tom donated his body to the Nebraska Medical Center to aid medical professionals in research of Parkinson's disease and Multi-Systems Atrophy. CELEBRATION OF LIFE, Saturday, October 8th, from 1pm-4pm. Prayer service and remembrances at 1:30pm. Steinhart Park Lodge, 121 Steinhart Park Road, Nebraska City, NE 68410. Parking on south side of Lodge. Memorials suggested in Tom's memory to UNMC Neurological Sciences Parkinson's disease research; Lourdes Central Catholic School or St. Mary Catholic Church in Nebraska City, NE.

I am sure Tom is on the wings of angels today.
I will always remember Tom's kind manner. He was a gracious man with a kind heart. I enjoyed working for him at Methodist Hospital.
