Frances J. Gable, 85, of Tunkhannock, passed away at the Gardens of Tunkhannock, on Dec. 10, 2021.
She was born in Kingston Township on Feb. 23, 1936, and she was the daughter of the late Russell and Hazel Howell Jacques. She was married to Arthur Gable who passed away on Mar. 12, 2021.They were married for 63 years.
Frances was a graduate of Falls-Overfield High School. She enjoyed spending time with her family, baking, cooking, gardening and traveling.
In addition to her parents, and husband she is preceded in death by a daughter, Janice Marie Gable; a brother, Frederick Jacques; and sisters: Marion Finch, and Geraldine Trauger.
She is survived by her children: Jacqueline and husband David Dippold of Pennsylvania, Judy and Philip Protz of North Carolina, and Arthur and Susanne Gable of Pennsylvania; and brothers: Russell and Carl Jacques. Also, eight grandchildren and three great grandchildren.

Aunt Fran was my PA substitute mother, as my own was back in Chicago. Many enjoyable Sundays were spent at Art and Fran's dinner table, she was a kind and generous soul, and I'm grateful to have known her
