Kevin M. Class, 66, of Tunkhannock, passed away on Saturday, Jan. 1, 2022, at Geisinger Medical Center, Danville.
He is survived by his companion of 17 years, Mary Kingsley.
Born in Binghamton, N.Y., on July 19, 1955, he was the son of Toni Burgoyne.
Kevin was retired from DHL Supply Chain. He will be remembered for his love of music and cooking for friends and family. He especially loved camping with his Soaring Eagle family on the Delaware River, where he was relaxed with nature, happiest when he spotted an eagle or hummingbird while watching the river roll by. He shared these things and so much more with Mary, taking random road trips, traveling to Connecticut for seafood, and camping and races at Watkins Glen. He was a doting father and his daughters' hero, loving them endlessly and being their rock.
In addition to Mary, he is survived by his daughters: Jennifer Class Sablich and husband Nicholas of Clayton, N.C., and Shannon Class, of Clayton, N.C.; brothers: Erwin (Pat) Class of Cody, Wyo., and Joe (Sandy) Boatwright of Conklin, N.Y.; sisters: Joy (Elvin) Schwab of Waymart and Diane (Mark) Newman of Machipongo, Va.; grandchildren: Kenna, Zachary, and Giovanna Sablich, Zoe Dymond, and Alanna Core.
He was preceded in death by his sister, Melanie.
Kevin had a generous heart, always willing to lend a helping hand when needed. He will be sorely missed and forever remembered in our hearts.
Funeral services will be held privately at the convenience of the family.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may by made to the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society.
