Robert Alan ""Robbie"" Colgrove

1972 - 2013

Robert "Robbie" Alan Colegrove, age 40, of Laceyville, passed away Monday morning, May 20, 2013, from injuries sustained in an automobile accident which happened in Lemon Twp., Wyoming County, on his way to work.
Robbie was born on Sept. 7, 1972, in Tunkhannock, the son of the late Joseph "Joe" and Marlene Canfield Colegrove.
He was a graduate of Wyalusing Valley High School class of 1991.
Robbie worked for various companies in the natural gas business for the last few years, most recently Summerset Regional Waters, Ram Transit and Cabot gas companies. He was also employed by Cargill in Wyalusing, PA for 14 years.
He was a member of the Goodwill Fire Co. in Laceyville. He enjoyed hunting and fishing. Most of all he loved to spend time with his family especially his children.
Robbie is survived by his children, Patrick Alan Colegrove, Andrew Joseph Colegrove, and Brianna Marie Brotzman all of Laceyville; his aunts and uncles, Edward and Carol Colegrove of Retta, Erma Bagdon of Wyalusing, Tracey Canfield of Laceyville, and Cleon and Pat Canfield of Laceyville; as well as many cousins.
He was preceded in death by the tragic loss of his parents, Joe and Marlene Canfield Colegrove and his brother Michael J. Colegrove on Aug. 8, 2007. He was also preceded in death by his uncles Tony Bagdon (2001) and Stanley "Junior" Colegrove (2012); his maternal grandparents, Fredrick and Nettie Canfield; his paternal grandparents, Anna and Carl Bagdon; and his paternal grandfather Stanley Colegrove, Sr.
Memorial services will be held at a later date at the convenience of the family.
Interment will be in the Lacey St. Cemetery. Arrangements were made through Sheldon Funeral Homes, Main St., Laceyville.
