Susan E. Love, devoted wife and mother, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her family on Wednesday, Nov. 17, 2021. She is now reunited with her mother in heaven.
Born in Warren, Ohio. on Jan. 30, 1943, to the late Luxor and Julia Parti Marko, she resided on Love Road in Hop Bottom for more than 50 years.
In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her sister, Helen; and brothers: John, George, Louis, Paul, James, and Eugene.
Sue was a graduate of Trumbell Memorial Hospital School of Nursing in Warren, Ohio. She worked for most of her life, including 20 years at Montrose General Hospital. She retired from Clarks Summit State Hospital in 2004.
Sue is survived by her husband of 55 years, Glenn; daughters: Molly Love-Birosak (Thomas), Bonnie Love-Colwell (Matthew) and Roxanne Love Robinson; grandson, Jacob Robinson; granddaughters: Devon and Payton Colwell; and several nieces and nephews.
Sue enjoyed dancing with her husband, shopping with her daughters and spending time with friends.
She had a strong faith in the Lord and was a member of the Hop Bottom United Methodist Church where she taught Sunday School and even arranged a little church band as her girls were growing up.
She was devoted to her children. She never missed a music lesson, concert or sporting event. She was a hard worker and a kind soul who always did for others.
Funeral services were held Saturday, Nov. 20, in the Charles H. Litwin Funeral Home, Nicholson.
