Clarence Cottrell Obituary

HEATH: Clarence Cottrell, Jr., 66, of Heath, Ohio and formerly of Zanesville, passed away at 4:15 a.m. Wednesday, June 23, 2010 at Licking County Memorial Hospital.
He was born May 17, 1944 in Zanesville, the son of the late Clarence Cottrell Sr. and Ruby Wayne Cottrell Bradley.
He was formerly employed by Cohen's Jewelers and the Newark Air Force Base. He was a member of the Stumptown Steam Threshers Association and attended Watch Making School.
He is survived by his wife, Mary Linton Cottrell whom he married July 27, 1963; sons, Troy (Lisa Shields) Cottrell of Zanesville, Clarence (Kelli) Cottrell III of Heath; daughters, Ruby (Mark) Lyons of Heath, and Angela Fletcher of Newark; brother, Donald (Rose) Cottrell; sisters, Dorothy Dollings of East Fultonham, Nora (Glen) Bash of Zanesville, Nelma Higgins of Granville, Alice (Ron) Baldwin of Zanesville; grandchildren, MaryAnn Parker, Kenneth Fletcher, Cody and Kyle Lyons, Wyatt and Sydney Cottrell, and Kylee and Timi Shields; great grandchildren, Shavanna Parker and Raini Willis; numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by nephew, Bill Cottrell.
Friends may call from 4-7 p.m. Friday at DeLong-Baker & Lanning Funeral Home where services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday with Pastor Alice Baldwin officiating. Interment will be at St. Paul's Lutheran Cemetery at Stovertown.
