Connie Handley Obituary

TUCSON, AZ: Connie M. Handley died September 17, 2009, in Tucson, AZ.
She was born in Newark on December 13, 1942 to the late Charles Cooksey and Martha (Wilkerson) Cooksey.
She attended Newark High School; and retired from Dension University from the House Keeping Department. After retiring, her and her husband moved to Florida for 17 years. They both moved to Tucson to be closer to family.
She is survived by son, Charles (Reva) Rine of Newark; daughters, Pamela (Phillip) Helms of Newark, Tammy Crumrine of Newark; step sons, Monty (Bonnie) Handley of Tucson, Richard (Debbie) Handley of Tucson, Michael Handley of Washington, Joseph Handley of Newark; step daughters, Kim Handley of Mt. Vernon, Regina Handley of Mt. Vernon, Susan Caristo of Albuquerque; 20 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren; and her sister, Bonnie (Cooksey) Handley of Tucson; her aunt, Geneva Blevins of Newark; and uncle, Harold Wilkerson of Newark.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Richard "Dick" Handley; and her brother, Donald Cooksey.
At her request, there will be no services. You may make a donation in her name to: Peppie's House (Hospice) 5301 N. Grant Rd Tucson, AZ 85712
