Corey Stewart Obituary

HEATH: A funeral service for Corey W. "Ruckus" Stewart, 23, of Heath, will be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday at Brucker & Kishler Funeral Home with Pastor Michael R. Lee officiating. Interment will follow at Wilson Cemetery.
Corey, a IDA project coordinator with Licking County Coalition of Housing, passed away April 28, 2009 at his residence. He was born September 1, 1985 in Newark, the son of William Robert Stewart and Lisa Darlene Bonner. He was a member of First Apostolic Church of Pataskala. He volunteered at Club Serenity. He was a singer and musician locally. He was a senior at The Ohio State University. He enjoyed fishing, canoeing and outdoor activities and most of all camping in his Winnie.
He is survived by his mother and step-dad, Lisa (Michael) Gordon of Heath; brothers, Jeromy Miller and Michael Gordon of Heath; a sister, Adrienne Radu of Newark; grandparents, Russell & Delores Bonner of Newark, Mona Scheidigger of Lancaster; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews; his best friend, J.C. Petty and cousin, Casey Lee.
Corey was preceded in death by his father, William R. Stewart; aunt, Cheryl V. Wessinger; step-father, Jerry D. Miller; paternal grandparents, Bob & Arlene Stewart.
Friends may call from 6-9 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
