Deanna Chaney Obituary
Newark - Deanna Elizabeth Chaney, age 81, of Newark, passed away at her home on April 28, 2020. She was born on October 28, 1938 to the late Arthur and Marian (Thompson) Church in Newark, OH.
A memorial service will be held at 10am on Thursday, April 8th, 2021 at Brucker Kishler Funeral Home, 985 N. 21st Street, Newark, OH 43055. Family will greet friends from 9:30-10am prior to the service at the funeral home.
Deanna loved to take road trips and attend Native American Pow Wows. In her free time, she enjoyed sewing and reading. Deanna was a long-time member of the Order of the Eastern Star, Chapter 305.
Deanna is survived by her children, Rodney (Christine) Chaney, Renee (Jeff) Baker, Regina (Jeff) Large, and Lin Chaney; 4 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, Deanna is preceded in death by her daughter, Eleanor Parrill; brother, James Church; and great granddaughter, Penelope.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Hospice of Central Ohio, P.O. Box 430 Newark, Ohio 43058-0430.
