Words are not adequate to express Sid and Loretta's Appreciation for Jim's courtesies and friendship in our lives. He took us to yacht club in Naples for our anniversary. The first time I brought him homemade pickles made by our church women in Kentucky for missions he ate six before I left. Each year he expected I bring several jars of pickles for him....And I did. He referred a family member to me ...as I am a Realtor n Kentucky.... to sell their lake home. And I did. Jim was always thinking of how he could help. Jim, the world is a better place for all you did for people. God Bless.

Jim was a gift from God I am sure. He was a man of honor, warmth, loving parent, grandfather and husband. I got to know him early in my life as a young man of 14. I help him over the years when he ran for office. So many fond memories. RIP Jim and Bless your family.

Jim I remember all the great times at Buckeye ocean and doing concrete work at some of your properties. And all of your boating lessons and of course your infinite wisdom

Jim was a fine man and I remember playing cards at his or brother Dick's house with them and Tom and Dan Baumann, Jude Mazza, Tom Curran, and other south-end luminaries "when I wore a younger man's clothes" (with apologies to Billy Joel) - FUN times- will always remember them

Steve and I will miss him dearly. We had so much fun boating with him both in Florida and at Buckeye Lake. We felt we were a part of his extended family, spending Thanksgiving with him in Florida and Fourth of July at the lake. I will remember our trip with him and Jane to Key West always. We laughed, drank wine, and ate on the beach. Without a doubt, he was a truly good man. Teresa Packard and Steve Belhorn c

My condolences to Jim's family. I recently thought about him and wondered where he was. Now I know! When we were in our teens he was the pilot of many a boating excursion on Buckeye Lake, including trips to dance at the park. They have been great memories. I wish I had known he was in Naples.

His thoughtfulness then has evidently spilled over to his extremely large family and friends. All will be remembered in my prayers. God has a special place for him.
