HEATH: A Celebration of Life Service for Jerry Dunlap will be held at 10am, on Monday, February 20, 2017, at the Heath Church of Christ. Greg Robbins, Dave Linn and Dave Mason will officiate. Burial will follow in Rocky Fork Cemetery. Family and friends may call on Sunday, from 2pm-4pm, at the church, 1331 Chapel Way, in Heath.

Jerry, 81, passed away Wednesday, February 15, 2017, at the Angels Care Family Home in Loveland, Ohio. He was born December 23, 1935, in Newark, a son of the late Elmer Alvin and Beulah Mae (McCracken) Dunlap. He was a graduate of the Hanover-Toboso High School and had worked at Kaiser Aluminum for 30 years. In his retirement he went on to work 20 years at Denison University. A devoted Christian man, Jerry loved God's world around him, farming, sports, his church and most importantly his family. He and his wife, Janie, were faithful members of the Heath Church of Christ.

Surviving are his children, Doug (Jodie) Dunlap of Cincinnati, Greg (Janice) Dunlap of Spartanburg, South Carolina, Sharon (Fred) Conley of Chilhowie, Virginia; grandchildren, Nick Dunlap, Nathan Dunlap, Jeremy (Christie) Dunlap, Ben (Evvie) Dunlap, Rachel (Jim) Falbo, Aaron (Julia) Conley; great-grandchildren, Chloe and Peyton Dunlap and Audrey Falbo; brothers and sister, Wendall Dunlap, Dottie Streaker, David Dunlap, Jeff Dunlap and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife of nearly 60 years, Janie (Yost) Dunlap on June 25, 2016 and four brothers, Bob McCracken, Elmer Dunlap Jr, Paul Dunlap and Dale Dunlap.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Heath Church of Christ, 1331 Chapel Way, Heath, Ohio 43056.
