Ora Ault Obituary
Newark - A funeral service celebrating the life of Ora Thomas "Tom" Ault, age 76, of Newark, will be held at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, July 14, at Criss Wagner Hoskinson Funeral Home with Pastor Robert Simpson (Tom's father-in-law) officiating. Burial will take place in Newark Memorial Gardens where military honors will be observed by the Licking County Veterans Alliance.
Friends may call from 12-2 p.m. prior to the service at the funeral home, 179 Granville Street in Newark.
Tom was born March 5, 1945 in Crooksville, Ohio to the late Emory Dennison and Lucille (Goody) Ault. He passed away on Thursday, July 8, 2021 at the Laurels of Heath.
Tom was a veteran of the United States Army and faithfully service his country during Vietnam. He retired from the United States Postal Service in Columbus after 26 years of service where he had been a technician. Tom was also an electrician with the IBEW for 26 years. He was a member of the VFW and the American Legion in Crooksville and enjoyed fishing.
He is survived by his loving wife of 53 years, Carol Sue (Trickle) Ault, whom he married June 27, 1968; sons, Kevin (Rebecca) Ault, Kelly (Terri) Ault, and Kim Ault; eight grandchildren; brother, Dennis Ault; and a sister Shirley Ault.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a daughter-in-law, Stacy Ault; two sisters; and a brother.
Memorial contributions may be made to Generation Hospice.

I grew up with Tom in Crooksville. We competed against and with each in sports and our back yards. I played HS and college football there was never anyone more tougher or determined than Tom. I have fond memories of our youth

I worked with Tommy for many years at the Post Office. He kept up with me even with his health problems and never complained. He always had my respect. Tommy was a good man.
