Taylor Alise Gartner
NEWARK: A service celebrating the precious life of Taylor Alise Gartner will be held at 11am, on Thursday, December 3, 2015, at the Brucker-Kishler Funeral Home, in Newark. Pastor Bill Lavely will officiate. Burial will follow in Oak Hill Cemetery. Family and friends may call from 3pm-8pm, on Wednesday, at the funeral home, 985 N. 21st Street.
Taylor went to be with the Lord, on Friday, November 27, 2015, at Nationwide Children's Hospital, surrounded by those she loved and who loved her so much, after a brave battle with cancer. She was born February 27, 2008, in Newark. Taylor was a first grader at McGuffey Elementary School.
Surviving is her father, Jeffrey Gartner, and mother Lindsay Dietrich; brothers and sisters, Braden Gartner, Kenneth Morton, Alexia Gartner, Jayda Dietrich, Kelsey Chadwick; paternal Grandma Sandy and Grandpa Tim Cochran and Grandpa Jeffrey Gartner, Sr.; aunts, Janet Gartner, Alyssa (Jon) Golden, Autumn (Anthony) Amore; cousins, Draven, Trevor, Brylen, Bayleigh, Trenton, Emerson, step-mother Sarah Devoll; her very special teacher at McGuffey Elementary, Joanna Villinger and her beloved pet Guinee pig, "Zebra Marie Nicole Dietrich Gartner". Taylor was preceded in death by her Great Grandma and Grandpa Gartner and Great Grandma and Grandpa Nichols.
Taylor touched many lives on her short time on earth and the entire family is grateful and wishes to acknowledge all of the support received for Taylor from the music industry and whole community at #TeamTaylorG. The outpouring of love and caring was overwhelming and in Taylor's memory, she would want you to keep the faith, finish strong and continue the battle against cancer by doing whatever you can for those in need.
Memorial contributions may be made to the funeral home to assist the family with burial expenses.
