Theodore "Ted" G. Warner

NEWARK: A gathering of friends and family to celebrate the of life Theodore "Ted" G. Warner, age 79, of Newark will be held on Friday, October 17, at 7:00 p.m. at the GMP Hall, 350 Hudson Avenue, Newark. B.Y.O.B.

Ted passed away Sunday, October 12, 2014 at his home and was born September 6, 1935 in Newark to the late Theodore Joseph and Helen Dorothy (Danley) Warner.

Ted was a hard working, fun loving and devoted family man who loved to dance and drink beer. He was self-employed in the plumbing, heating and wiring trade and had previously worked in the maintenance department at The Continent in Columbus. He was a member of both Newark and Heath Eagles and a member of the American Association for Nude Recreation.

He is survived by his children, Victoria (Chris) Parsons of Newark, Christian Warner of Newark, Tayna Richards of Newark, Janet Davis of Newark and Tamara Antritt of Newark; 13 grandchildren and 29 great-grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren; half-brother, Leslie Sinclair; and many loved friends.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Elizabeth Warner (2005); half-brother, Clayton Sinclair; and a grandson, Don Hottinger.

The Newark Chapel of Henderson-Van Atta-Stickle Funeral & Cremation Service is assisting the family with arrangements.

I remember him showing up to most every home improvement session we had on madison....with his big ol' box truck and a case of beer. A hard working cat. You can tell a lot about a man by how much pride he takes in his work. My condolences to my stepmother, Tayna, and all those grieving.

So sorry to hear of Ted's passing. He was a great friend and co-worker. He worked with Hall and Ron with our family business. He was also willing to help us with our personal projects, too. He had a great smile and will be missed by many.

I am sorry to hear of Ted's passing. I was introduced to him about 12 years ago through Tracey McDonald (MAC). We were instant friends. He will be miss by many, but I do smile know he and Mac are aggravating those that have went ahead of us.
