Theresa Gartner Obituary
Newark - Theresa "Terri" B. Gartner, age 59, of Newark, passed away surrounded by family on Thursday, July 15, 2021. She was born to the late Frederick and Helen (Smith) Gartner on June 23, 1962, in Newark, OH.
A funeral mass will be held at 11am on Tuesday, July 20, 2021 at St. Francis de Sales Church, 58 Granville Street, Newark, OH. Services will be officiated by Father David Sizemore and Terri will be laid to rest at St. Joseph's Cemetery. Family will greet friends from 6-8pm at Brucker Kishler Funeral Home, 985 N. 21st St, Newark, OH on Monday, July 19, 2021.
Terri graduated from Utica High School in 1980 and worked for many years as a title clerk for the Licking County Clerk of Courts. She was a long-time member of St. Francis de Sales Church and in her free time, she enjoyed dancing, reading, and spending time with family, friends, and her beloved dog, Chewy.
Terri is survived by her brothers, James (Rhonda) Gartner, Jerry (Sally) Gartner, and Jeff Gartner. She also leaves behind many nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, and friends.
In addition to her parents, Terri is preceded in death by her brother, Frederick Gartner, Jr., and sister, Cathrine Gartner.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hospice of Central Ohio, 2269 Cherry Valley Rd, Newark, OH.
