Thomas Miracle Obituary
NEWARK: A Celebration of Life Open House for Thomas E. Miracle, 62, of Newark will be held Sunday, March 10, 2013 from 1-4 PM at the Buckingham House, 5 North Sixth St. Newark, OH.
Mr. Miracle passed away on March 2, 2013 at his residence. He was born on March 13, 1950 to the late Edward M. and Myrtle R. (Hupp) Miracle in Mt. Vernon, OH.
He is survived by his loving wife of 26 years, Sharon L. (Penn) Miracle; daughter, Amy (Eric) Hutchins; sons, Brian (Kadian) Miracle and Jarrad Miracle; grandchildren, Kadance and Klayton Hutchins, Thomas Lewis, Madison, Landon and Payton Miracle; sisters, Phyllis (James) King, Martha Miracle and Dorothy (Michael) Kiger; mother-in-law, Janet Penn; many nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his father-in-law, William E. Penn.
Tom truly loved spending time with his family and friends. Anyone who spent any time with Tom knew that he thoroughly enjoyed making people laugh. His natural ability to make people smile was mirrored by his mastery and love of cooking.
Tom was also an accomplished guitar player, in which he found many hours of peaceful solace, at the same time inspiring others around him to find the importance of music.
As a young man, Tom was always mechanically inclined. He took advantage of this connection with machines and became an outstanding professional mechanic. He started his career in auto-mechanics by owning a small garage in Glenford, Ohio and eventually working for several dealerships in and around Newark, Ohio. He then went on to work in the maintenance department for Newark City Schools.
Tom was an amazing husband, father, grandfather, musician, chef and an inspiration to many people. He will be severely missed, because the world will never see another man as truly genuine as Thomas E. Miracle.

My Dad, Frank Coble worked with Tom at Walker and Battat a few years and they enjoyed each others antics at work and at lunch. Tom always held a spot in Dad's heart after he retired and Tom would call sometime. As with everyone he knew Tom made his day. So sorry for your loss, I know he will be missed. Hope they can act up like always.
