William Morgan Obituary

NEWARK: A funeral service for William "Bill" Thomas Morgan, 61, of Newark, will be held at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday at Brucker & Kishler Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Newark Memorial Gardens with military honors by the Licking County Veterans Alliance.
Mr. Morgan, a retired 38-year machine tender with Owens Corning, passed away September 18, 2009 at Licking Memorial Hospital. He was born December 20, 1947 in Lexington, Kentucky, the son of Bernard and Betty (Stockdale) Morgan.
Bill was a graduate of Newark High School. He served in the U.S. Navy aboard the U.S.S. Saratoga as a Radar Tech during the Vietnam War. He enjoyed camping, fishing and computers.
Bill married Linda S. Bonham and they shared forty one years together. She survives of the home; other survivors include two sons, Chad (Maranda) Everett Morgan, and Christopher (Melissa) Dale Morgan both of Newark; his mother, Betty Morgan of Newark; two grandchildren, Chase and Cole Morgan; a brother, Frank (Carolyn) Morgan of Newark; and a number of nieces, nephews, and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his father, Bernard Morgan; severals aunts and uncles; and grandparents.
Friends may call from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
