He retired from McDonald Douglas Aircraft as a quality-control production engineer. He served during the Korean Conflict in both the U.S. Navy and Marine Corps.
Graveside services will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, June 11, 2008, in New Bern Memorial Cemetery with the Rev. John Moran officiating.
He is survived by his daughter, Donna Bishop of North Las Vegas; one brother, Vernon M. Kulla of Henderson, Nev.; six grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
