Janie Mann Hudson

Janie Mann Hudson, formerly of Oriental, died Tues., March 6, 2018, in Brooklyn, N.Y. She was 98. Parents were the late James and Janie Mann. Janie married the late Albert Hudson. She was preceded in death by son, Leonidas "Leon" Willie; daughter, Sandra Willie Roberson (York); brother, Sulton Mann (Carthenia); sisters, Eva Gibbs (Randolph, dec), Catherine Edwards (William, dec), Maggie Mann (Allen, dec), and Lennie Hooper (Alec, dec); grandchild, Devin Roberson. Janie is survived by her grandchild, Dr. Andrea Roberson, son-in-law, York Roberson, and sister-in-law Mrs. Carthenia Mann of New Bern, NC. She has many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Her many hobbies included traveling (South Africa, Paris, Mexico, etc). Her greatest desire was love for church and family. She loved helping others with Biblical texts.
