Michael Redmond Obituary
In 1971, he enlisted for active duty in the U.S. Army, earning the National Defense Service Medal, Marksman (rifle), Vietnam Service Medal w/ bronze service star, Vietnam Campaign Medal, Overseas Service Bar.
A graveside service will be held 2 p.m. Monday at the Coast Carolina State Veterans Cemetery in Jacksonville with military honors.
He is survived by his daughter, Kelli Redmond McGraw of New Bern; brother, Hiram Sylvester Redmond of Palmerton, Pa.; sister, Susan Clarissa Redmond Phillips of Belington, W. Va.; and two grandsons.
Arrangements are by Christopher H. Noe Funeral Service Licensee, Inc., Beaufort.
