A native of Greene County, she was born Jan. 25, 1923. Following graduation from the Maury High School, she entered nursing school at John Hopkins in Baltimore, Md. She spent her forty year career as a registered nurse primarily in Maryland and upstate New York. Upon retirement she returned in North Carolina.
Graveside services will be held 11 a.m. Thursday, March 11, at the Snow Hill Cemetery with the Rev. Neil Cox officiating.
She is survived by her daughter, Patricia Kaminski Bantam, Conn.; a son, John David Radov of Snow Hill; a sister, Ann Cox of New Bern; and three granddaughters.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, at Taylor-Tyson Funeral Service and other times at the home of Russell and Joyce Corbett, 1101 Hart Circle, Snow Hill.
