JoClair was my older, beautiful, wonderful high school cousin riding the same bus when I started first grade. She would not let the 'bad boys' pull my braids or tease my friends. I adored her, have never forgotten, and regret that age and later distance separated us as adults.

Ihave many fond memories of my Aunt Jo. I was at her wedding to Uncle Houston and, even though I was young, I remember it well. A few years ago I took my own grandson, Parks, to visit with them in their home in Gray Court. Indeed she was a lovely lady in all respects. She will be sorely missed by many.
