Albert Michaud Obituary
Albert N. Michaud, 71, of Bristol, passed away on Thursday, September 4, 2025. He was born on December 29, 1953 in Bristol, son of the late Rudolph and Leona (Marin) Michaud. Albert retired from Covanta Energy as a control room operator in 2018. He loved food especially sausage burgers, ice cream and sauteed onions. Albert was a kind and generous soul, as such, his final act of kindness was donating his kidneys and liver to unknown recipients in need of saving their lives. Albert is survived by three children Jennifer Michaud of New Britain, Allen Michaud and his wife Tia of Norwich, Sandra "Chickie" Michaud of Windsor Locks; his ex-wife and mother of his 3 children Alice McCahill, grandchildren Ashleigh and Ayden Michaud of Colchester; siblings Patsy Huddleston of Avon, Linda "Chuckie" Guerrette and her husband Ted of FL, Nancy Desjardins and her husband Aldo of Bristol, Debi Michaud of Bristol, Sue Bentivengo and her husband Tom of Bristol, Bill Michaud and his fiance Gina Mealor of GA, Dick Michaud and his fiance Dana Tofel of Bristol, Cindy Michaud of Plantsville and several nieces, nephews and cousins. Besides his parents, Albert is predeceased by his niece Jodi Guerrette, nephew Jim Bentivengo and brother-in-law Doug Huddleston. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Brians Angels, briansangels.org/donate. Calling hours will be held on Wednesday, September 10, 2025 from 10 a.m. until 12 p.m. at O'Brien Funeral Home, 24 Lincoln Ave., Bristol, CT 06010. Burial will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery, Bristol.
