Paul Martin Obituary

Paul E. Martin, Jr.
Paul Edward Martin Jr., 74, passed away on August 18, 2026, after a long illness. He was born in New Milford, CT. on October 8, 1951, the son of Paul E. Martin Sr. and Rita Holton Martin.
Paul grew up on South Main St. in New Milford, where he had a lively childhood in a large family of seven children and many friends. As an intelligent child, he excelled in Science and Mechanics. He attended St. Francis Xavier School, Assumption Prep in Worcester, MA., and New Milford High School.
Paul was the second grandchild of former First Selectman E. Paul Martin, and Louise Heinen Martin.
He is survived by five siblings, Melanie, Gerard and Clement (Kathleen) of New Milford, Peter (Melissa) of MA, Marita Howland of SC. and a large extended family. He was recently predeceased by a sister, Marcella.
The family would like to recognize and thank St. John Paul II Center in Danbury for their exceptional care during his stay there.
A private service will be held at St. Francis Xavier Cemetery.
