Ralph H. Coffey Jr.
Ralph H Coffey, Jr. 73, of 52 Summer Street, Torrington, CT passed away on Monday, July 12 following a long illness.
He was the husband of the late Betty Chase Coffey.
Mr. Coffey was a life long resident of Torrington and attended public schools. He was a veteran of the US Army and was honorably discharged.
He was an avid fisherman and military historian. he was a avid outdoorsman. He will be remembered for his fun loving spirit and quick biting sense of humor
Mr. Coffey was the son of the late Ralph H Coffey, Sr. and MaryJane Hill Coffey.
He is survived by his loving family including his daughter and son-in-law Debra and Charles Mahnke and two granddaughters Rebekah and Rachel of Placerville, CA., a sister Linda Coffey-Hoyle of New Milford, CT, two step daughters, Jennifer Stevick and Kelly Roma, both of Torrington and a nephew and Godson Michael Coffey, also of Torrington
Memorial contributions may be made to the Wounded Warrior Project and The Disabled American Veterans.
