Robert A. Krager
Robert A. Krager, "Bob," of Roxbury, CT passed away on August 26, 2025 at Danbury Hospital. He and his wife, Sue, became high school sweethearts and were together for 63 years and married for 59.
Robert was born on August 15, 1944 to the late Dorothy (Danberg) Krager in Bridgeport, CT he was drafted for the US Army and served during Vietnam in the 196 Infantry Brigade and was a mechanic. Bob was a member of the Seymour Fish and Game in Oxford. He worked as a mechanic for many years, then became a foreman and manager at Hayes Chevrolet/Bennett Chevrolet in New Milford; working a total of 42 years there shows how dedicated of a person he was.
Besides his loving wife, Sue (Page) Krager, he is survived by a son, Geoff, and Becky Krager of Torrington; his grandson, Seth of Torrington; sister, Debbie Masuk of NY; nephews, Michael and Jill Masuk of NY and Wayne Masuk of NY; as well as a great-niece and nephew, Autumn and Henry.
Services are private and in the care of Lillis Funeral Home, 58 Bridge Street in New Milford, CT.
