Darrell Giles Obituary
Darrell Giles, age 82, of Cosby, passed away Monday, August 8, 2022.
He was of the Baptist faith, and was a founding member of the Cosby Volunteer Fire Department.
He was also a lifelong owner and operator of Giles Auto Parts.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Thomas Benton "Windy" and Lillian Giles, sisters, Leona Fowler, Betty Evans and Kathleen Murr.
He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Louzella Giles, son, Rusty (Shalee) Giles, daughters, Debra Parks and Karen Giles, brothers, Landon (Shirley) Giles, Bryan Murr, sister, Peggy (Harold) Blazer, grandchildren Chasity Lane, Darrell Parks, Dustin Parks, Cody Giles and Kris Giles, great-grandchildren, Mikayla Lane and Kaislee Parks, also other family and friends.
Funeral services will be held 7 p.m., Wednesday, August 10, 2022 in Manes Funeral Home Chapel, with the Revs. Leon Large and Kris Brady officiating.
Burial will be held 11 a.m., Thursday, August 11, in Waters-Large Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 5-7 p.m. Wednesday at Manes Funeral Home prior to the service.
