KENNETH LUKE MCLAUGHLIN - RIP I was so proud to have you as a member and as a friend, your letters - always erudite; and witty and entertaining kept me going through even the most distressing of times. Your kindness of spirit; love of learning, and generous support enabled those 2018 renovations when the historical society finally moved to its own premises in Island Pond. Everyone who ever had the honor of knowing you will always remember you Ken. My sincere Condolences to your childhood friend Ralph and his wife Kathleen for I know they will miss you, and my deepest Sympathies to your family. I will remember to 'THANK A TEACHER' in your memory because you were the best kind of teacher. For now, I wish you Godspeed Ken. See you in Valhalla. And thank you. As he was to my father, Luke was a life long friend. I will miss him. I will always appreciate shared stream fishing and camping in the Northeast Kingdom, hiking Green Mountain trails and sking Vermont & BC, Canada together. He was a faithful and kind individual. Somebody who could tell a story with a sense of humor and a good laugh. I toast a "tram" to you Luke, and I will not forget your goodness, and light of heart. Ralphie
