Everybody liked Mickey you couldn't help it. He was just like his dad. We played a lot of ball as kids and he was the real deal. He always came over to talk to me as we grew older when we met on those rare occasions and it was always fun sharing a few memories. So sorry, rest easy Mickey.

I am so sorry to hear of Mickey's passing. I had some wonderful conversations with him over the years and even played some baseball with him many years ago towards the end of my sports career and the early part of his. He loved fishing and told me of many of the places where he loved to fish. If I remember correctly, he and his friends built the bandstand on the Causeway. He was a good carpenter and a hard worker. I played ball with his dad who was great baseball player. They were both wonderful human beings and I will miss Mickey Jr. as much as I miss his dad.

Deepest sympathies to Mickey's family. I had the honor of being Mickey's neighbor long ago, he taught my son and I some of the finer points of catching and cleaning fish. Will always remember him. Thoughts and prayers with you all, may he RIP.
