She is survived by her sister, Barbara (Ed) Knop of Clifton; two children, Linda Smith (Mark) of Edinburg and David Espenschied (Laurel Dano) of Scottsdale, Ariz.; two grandchildren, Allison (Josh) Kirchhoff of Goreville and Ross Smith of Vienna; two great-grandchildren, Raleigh and Blake Kirchhoff, also of Goreville; as well as nieces and nephews.

A funeral service for Alice will take place at 11 a.m. Monday, Dec. 11, at Wesley United Methodist Church, Urbana, with the Rev. Dan Spruell officiating. Visitation will be from 10 to 11 a.m. Burial will take place in Woodlawn Cemetery, Urbana.
