Arlie Neaville Obituary
URBANA - Arlie Dean Neaville, 85, of Urbana passed away at 10:16 p.m. Monday (April 24, 2023) at home.
There will be a memorial sing at a later date.
Arlie was born June 11, 1937, in Fairfield. He married Judy Frescura, and she survives.
Also surviving are two sons, Eric Musick and Mike Neaville; and two daughters, Shannon Neaville and Michelle Eskew. Many, many grandchildren and great-grandchildren also survive.
Arlie was a singer/songwriter. Jesus loves you. Heaven or hell is up to you.

Dan Collard and Roger Bruner we play with Arlie at a club in Danville (150 or Joker Club) it was our first gig and he was great we were 16 or 17 sorry for your loss.

I remember Arlie from way back at some of the places in Danville he was one of the best ever.
Years later I met up with him at the Carle and when to some of his songs at Lincoln Square he was so good with gospel.

Hi This is from your daughter Michelle. It has been 2 years and all is the same and better. I miss you my surgery for my head was success. The kids all doing good. Its close to Thanksgiving we miss Vegan Burger. The respect and your music went on. Were ever you went. I told you surprise they seen it. I'm still sorry some for that. The ladies are maybe over the law and 8 to 10 MRI AND CAT SCANS for each it hurt. I had to give it to them they are first. They are happy for months. I said hi to your ex, they explored a few respectful letter a entertainer lawyer. Miss You. Love Michelle and Shannon.

It took me a while to really embrace the loss of a loving and caring soul who impacted my life significantly growing up when I was a toddler and even now as a grown man! He will always be known as the greatest grandfather, the greatest father, the greatest husband, the greatest man I have ever known. Your music and passion in life will always be in my thoughts. I´ll always remember Jesus loves me because of you grandpa! I love you and will always think of you!

This little box cannot contain the love, peace, joy I have over Arlie faithfully making it home. He was like a father to me in a hard season of life and I'm so grateful that the Lord allowed me to know and serve the Neaville family. He preached.. long.. but with an open heart, a loose tongue and a merry heart. I was the apple tree in the middle of winter and you lifted my eyes to see the Author of the seasons. God's singing over YOU now Arlie!

We have known Arlie Neaville for many years back when he was doing Gospel sings at the Gospel Lighthouse in Champaign when it was across from the Art Theater and he sang at our church we have many of his cassettes. He will be missed sending to the family

I met Mr. Neaville back when he was presenting his Sunday sings at the mall. Beside his talent as a musician and songwriter, he was a good, gracious, and kind man. I've never met a more genuine Christian.

Arlie was a good man. I have many fond memories of Arlie taking Andy and I all over town. Arlie even came all the way to Tennessee to sing at our church. He was loved and will be missed. They don´t make ``em like him anymore.

I've known Arlie Neaville since I was just a kid. My brother owned a small recording studio where Arlie Neaville used to record. I spent a lot of hours listening to songs as they were being recorded. Arlie Neaville was very talented. He also was a family friend. He will be missed.
