RANTOUL - Daniel "Danny" Ray Rasor, 73, of Rantoul passed away Thursday morning (Dec. 1, 2022) at home.
He was born Dec. 8, 1948, in Urbana, a son of Russell Ray and Lorine Hilda (Bergman) Rasor.
He is survived by a daughter, Lori (Dennis) Miller of Tell City, Ind.; two brothers, Verl Rasor of Gifford and Kevin (Juri) Rasor of Rantoul; a sister, Cheryl (Lyndon) Getty of Rantoul; and two grandchildren, McKinley and Michael.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a son, Shane.
Danny was a graduate Rantoul Township High School. He handled outside work at many local grain elevators. He was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Gifford.
He was a hunter and baseball fan, and he also enjoyed Illini basketball.
Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Monday at St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Gifford. The Rev. Scott Guhl will officiate. Burial will follow in Kopman Cemetery, St. Joseph. Visitation will be for one hour prior to the service at St. Paul's.
The family has entrusted arrangements to Lux Memorial Chapel, Rantoul.
