ATWOOD - Donald F. Laughlin passed away Saturday (Oct. 21, 2023) at Carle Foundation Hospital, Urbana.
He was born Oct. 23, 1924, to John and Goldie Shields Laughlin.
Don is survived by his wife of 75 years, Florence Hatchel Laughlin; three children, Marilyn, Theresa and Ronald; eight grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandson.
He was preceded in death by his parents, four brothers, one sister and a great-great-granddaughter.
Don was an Army WWII veteran and a member of the Parkville United Methodist Church.
Visitation will be from 10 to 11 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 25, at Morgan Memorial Home, 1304 Regency Drive West, Savoy (morganmemorialhome.com). Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Burial will be in Rice Cemetery, rural Sadorus.
Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or the donor's choice.

I was so sad to hear of my brothers passing, I'm the only one left now. I pray for Florence and their children and grandchildren. He was so loved by all of them as well as myself.
