Gurdial Uppal Obituary
CHAMPAIGN – Gurdial Singh Uppal, 67, son of Dhian Singh and Durga Devi, husband of Rani, was born April 15, 1939, in Lahore, Pakistan. After living his entire adult life in the United States, certain events brought him back to the place of his birth, where he passed on Jan. 28, 2007.
His loving family most remembers him for his continued commitment to service of them.
He lived life as a warrior, taking on each challenge with an amazing energy. He had one major challenge left, and he won this battle 10 hours before his passing.
It brings us some comfort to know that for the last 10 hours of his life, he felt victorious and on top of the world.
