BEMENT - Jerry Riley, 74, of Bement passed away Monday (Oct. 20, 2025) at 1:38 p.m. at home in Bement.
Funeral services will be at noon Saturday, Oct. 25, at Hinds Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 348 N. Piatt St., Bement. The Pastor Pat Tieman will officiate. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until the time of services Saturday at the funeral home. Cremation rites will follow the services, and burial of the cremated remains will be at a later date.
Memorial contributions can be made to the Jerry Riley memorial fund in care of the State Bank of Bement.
Jerry was born on June 19, 1951, in Glasgow, Ky., a son of William and Elizabeth Blair Riley. He married Beverly Bryant on Feb. 14, 1995, in Bement, and she survives.
Surviving children are Jerry Todd (Sandra) Riley of Bement, Jason Scott Riley of Bowling Green, Ky., Anthony Wayne Miller of Danville, Ky., Nathaniel Ray (Jenny) Turner of Monroe, Ky., and Jordan (Abbie) Turner of Bement. Also surviving are several grandchildren; many great-grandchildren; and three brothers, Terry "Hacky" (Gail) Riley of Horse Cave, Ky., Mark (Lillieann) Riley of Glasgow, Ky., and Cleo Chase of Randcliff, Ky.
He was preceded in death by his parents, five brothers and five sisters.
Jerry was a veteran of the U.S. Army. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, going to the beach, the mountains and loved working in his yard. He was a car enthusiast, and he enjoyed antiquing with his wife, Beverly. He loved his KitKats and his Sprite Zero, but his greatest joy was just LIFE.
