CHAMPAIGN - Joshua A. Cleveland, 32, left this physical world on Wednesday morning, Oct. 15, 2025.
He was born on April 23, 1993, in Greenville, Texas, to Amy Smith Cleveland as the second oldest of six children.
Josh left behind his wife and best friend, Mandy; and daughter, Vivian, who was the apple of his eye.
Growing up, he traveled the world with his family and ended up in Champaign. He was easygoing and could make a friend anywhere he went. He touched so many lives with his kindness. His dream was to become an electrician in the local IBEW 601 union, and this past spring, he was accepted in and started as an apprentice.
He loved basketball and football, especially his team the OKC Thunder, and reluctantly watched the Dallas Cowboys lose.
Josh loved his family and would do anything for them. Josh was a wonderful son, brother, husband and father. He loved his wife and daughter with all his heart. He dedicated his life to becoming a great husband and father and would tell you that is his greatest accomplishment.
This isn't goodbye, it's see you later. We will love you forever.
A celebration of life will be held Saturday, Oct. 25, at 3 p.m. at New Life Korean Church (former home of Grace Community Church), 2901 Waterson Court, Champaign.
To honor Josh's memory, the family invites donations to Vivian Cleveland's education fund at Busey Bank. Condolences may be offered at morganmemorialhome.com.
