June Campbell

June Campbell St. Joseph - June H. Campbell of St. Joseph died Saturday (Nov. 1, 2025). Services will be private. Freese Funeral Home, 302 E. Grand Ave., St. Joseph, is handling arrangements. Mrs. Campbell was born June 13, 1927, in Holyport, Berkshire, England, the daughter of George and Hilda Templeton. She married James Campbell in 1970 in Cheltenham, England. He died May 12, 2005. Survivors include one son, Hugh C. Austin Young of England; two stepsons, Douglas S. Campbell of Alameda, Calif., and J. Andrew Campbell of Milwaukee, Ore.; a stepdaughter, Melinda B. Campbell of Portland, Ore.; four stepgrandchildren; and two stepgreat-grandchildren. Mrs. Campbell was preceded in death by a daughter, Victoria Austin Young. She attended schools and college in England and was a retiree of the University of Illinois. Mrs. Campbell was also a member of the St. Joseph Gardeners, the C-U Herb Society and the Hosta Society. Memorials may be made to the St. Joseph Rescue Squad.
