Dr. Vodkin was a stellar scientist and a kind, supportive mentor. It was a privilege to learn from her in the classroom and on my dissertation committee at U of I. Heartfelt condolences to her family.

Don remembers visiting Uncle Furman and Aunt Helen during the summer when he was a child of ten or older. Lila was a baby during that time, and Don played with Lila´s brothers. We are saddened by her loss and send condolences to her family members!
