Linda Gebauer

Linda Sue Gebauer Rantoul - Linda Sue Gebauer, 66, of Rantoul passed away peacefully on Sunday (Nov. 2, 2025). Born to the late Frances Gerald (Jerry) and Joanne Cantwell, Linda lived a life full of love, creativity and kindness. She enjoyed crafting, fishing, gardening and thrifting, but her greatest joy was spending time with her family. She is survived by her husband, Steven Gebauer; children, Jason Martin, Jeremiah Martin, Steven (Johanna) Gebauer II, Samantha (Walter) Smith and Joshua Armstrong; numerous grandchildren; and her siblings Debbie Motzer, David Cantwell and Kimberly Delaney. She was preceded in death by her parents, brother Jerry Cantwell and grandson Camden Gebauer. Linda's gentle spirit and loving heart will be deeply missed and fondly remembered by all who knew her. A celebration of life will be held at a later date. "Those we love don't go away, they walk beside us every day."
