WHITE HEATH – Penny M. Burokas, age 64, of White Heath, born in Chicago, on Aug. 23, 1944, to Louise Piehl, passed away at Provena Covenant Medical Center in Urbana, on Thursday, Feb. 26, 2009.
She is survived by her sons, Steven (Staci) Burokas of Eureka, Mo., and Michael (Julie) Burokas of White Heath. Also surviving are her grandchildren, Ashton and Peyton Burokas.
Her father, Ki Kijewski, preceded her in death.
Visitation will be 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, Feb., 28, 2009, at Renner-Wikoff Chapel & Crematory, 1900 S. Philo Road, Urbana. The funeral will immediately follow the visitation. Rev. Mike Mack will officiate. Commitment service to follow in Riverside Cemetery, Mahomet.
Memorial contributions may be made in honor of Penny Burokas to the Guardian Angel Program at Provena Covenant Medical Center, Urbana, care of Renner-Wikoff Chapel.
She will be greatly missed by her friends and family.

Mike and Steve so sorry to hear about your Mom I wish I had known how sick she was. This was quite a shock to us,she was a special friend anda very nice person I will really miss her a lot!

I am so sorry to hear about Penny. She and I worked together at The Prime Room over ten years ago. She was a great person and a good friend. It gives me comfort to know that she is now with God.
