When we became neighbors in 2008, Stan and Susan were so welcoming, and made us feel at home. Stan was kind, generous and jovial. We were so happy to have such a wonderful neighbor and friend. Every time you saw him, he would lighten your day. Whether he was working in the yard, coming and going out of the driveway, talking with the neighbors, or whenever we were having a few drinks together, he would always emanate joy and goodness. Clare and I, and our children were very fond of him; we miss him enormously. We express our deepest sympathy to the Lynch family.

Dear Susan,
I was so sorry to hear of the news of Stan´s passing, please accept my deepest condolences. So sorry I have lost touch since moving from Urbana many years ago. I remember a lot of fun times and good memories hanging out at the house with you both even from the Delaware ave days. Stan was a great guy. Love, Sue W

I will miss you my friend. We brought up our girls on Delaware street. We always took the family to the county fair, the girls Softball games and took the girls around the neighborhood for their candy and our "trick or drink" while Anita and Sue stayed home and passed out candy every Halloween. Whether it was you running down the street with the Cardinal flag after a win against the cubs it was me using a bull horn to announce a Cub win. Our families had many years together that will be forever lasting memories.
