RANTOUL – Timothy Lee Griffith, age 52, of Rantoul, died Wednesday, June 10, 2009, at his home.
A gathering of family and friends will take place at 10 a.m. Monday, June 15, at Lux Memorial Chapel, Rantoul. A memorial service will be held at that time.
Tim was born in Denver, Colo., and was the son of Paul and Marcella (Bliss) Griffith.
Tim was a 1975 graduate from Rantoul High School and lived many of his years in the Rantoul area. He worked at Rantoul Products for many years. He loved music, playing cards, movies, and his weekends with his friends. Tim was loved by his nieces and nephew who always enjoyed his visits.
He is survived by his sister, Nancy Moulton of Rantoul, and his brother, Aaron (Angela) Griffith of Mt. Zion. He was preceded in death by his parents.

man, I had lots of memories with Tim. Playing music together, church youth group, fishing, and hanging out together. We could go through some pizza! The trip we took around central illinois, I still tell stories about. Unfortunately we lost track of each other, but he was a big part of my growing up. God bless you all.
