Wanda West Obituary
CHAMPAIGN - Wanda Faye West, 83, passed away Tuesday (March 19, 2024) in Paxton.
She was born on May 8, 1940, in Olney, the daughter of Edward and Thelma Brummett.
She is survived by her siblings, Norma (Hobart) Edwards, Lowell (Judy) Brummett, Teri (Ted) Kelley, Ken (Wanda) Brummett and Judy (John) Berger; son Marion John (JoAnne) Skillings; grandchildren, John (Jenny) Skillings, Daniel Skillings and Amy Skillings; and great-grandchildren, Nicholas Skillings, Halli Skillings and Quentin Skillings.
Wanda was preceded in death by her parents; son Lee; and husband, Robert L. West.
In lieu of other expressions of sympathy, memorials may be made in her name to the Dementia Society of America.
A celebration of her life will be held at Sunset Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 710 N. Neil St., Champaign, on Monday, March 25, from 10 a.m. to noon, with a service to follow at noon.
