Barbara Guthleben Obituary
She was born Jan. 21, 1937, in Painesville.
Barbara enjoyed baking, traveling, bingo, and casino games. What brought her the most joy was the company of her family and the companionship she received from the various pets she had during her life.
She is survived by her daughter, Denise (Robert) Hytree of Perry; sons, Fred (Lisa) of Grand River, Tim (Laura) of Austinburg and Rob (Kelley) of Wickliffe; grandchildren, Tonya, Tiffiany, Tina, Kevin, Rob, Dave, Fred, and Aimee; and seven great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, retired Painesville Township fire chief Fred Guthleben; parents, H.R. "Marv" and Lyda Marvin and her brother, Donald C. Marvin.
Services will be 8 p.m. Monday at the Johnson Funeral Home, 368 Mentor Ave., Painesville, (opposite Lake Erie College). The Rev. Gerald D. Kalb of the Painesville United Methodist Church will officiate.
Friends may call 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home. Private graveside services will be held in Evergreen Cemetery.
Memorials may be made to the Lake County Humane Society.
