Donna Jean Maruschak

Donna Jean Maruschak, age 74 of Painesville Twp., died on September 15, 2021 at University Hospital in Cleveland. She was born on June 23, 1947 in Parma to the late John and Irene Gundling. Donna was the 4-H Program Assistant for The OSU Lake County Extension for 25 years. She then was a Lay Pastor for Park United Methodist Church in Madison and Community Christian Church in Painesville Twp. Donna devoted her life to serving others through her church ministries and community programs and always put others before her. Donna loved spending time with family and friends, crocheting, music and cooking. She was also a longtime member of Painesville United Methodist Church. She is survived by her children, Becky Maruschak, John (Liz) Rinnder, and Amy (Jerry) Marshall; grandchildren, Charles and Joshua Marshall, Vera and Carl Rinnder; brother, Donald (Bonnie) Gundling. A visitation will be held on Saturday, October 2, 2021 from 12:30PM until the memorial service at 2:00PM at Painesville United Methodist Church, 71 N. Park Pl., Painesville, Ohio 44077.
