Geraldine Reed, age 84, passed away July 7, 2022, at Geneva Center for Rehab and Nursing. She was born March 1, 1938, in Cleveland to Eugene and Arline Fox.Geraldine was a 1956 graduate of Riverside High School, and she was a member of the Beta Sigma Phi Sorority. She and her husband, Tom were married for 65 years. They enjoyed dancing at the Elks and taking road trips in their Model A car with the NEO Model A Ford Club. When her children were young, she was very active in the PTA and 4-H. Tom and Gerry loved spending time at their Lazy Ledges cabin in Thompson. They hosted many family campouts, fish fries, and weekend cookouts with family and friends. Gerry’s favorite past time was sitting on the porch watching the birds and the many wildlife wandering through the yard.Gerry is survived by her husband, Tom Reed; children, Becky (Charlie) Suran, Darlene (Rick) Douglas, Andrea Passafiume, Brad (Colette) Reed, Cheryl Reed, and Colleen (Roger) Weir; nine grandchildren and fourteen great grandchildren.She was preceded in death by her brother, Jim Fox and her parents.Friends will be received 5:00 PM – 7:00 PM on Wednesday, July 13, 2022, at Spear Mulqueeny Funeral Home, 667 Mentor Avenue, Painesville. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 AM Thursday, July 14th at the funeral home. Burial will be at Riverside Cemetery in Painesville.In lieu of flowers, the family suggest that a donation be made to your favorite Hospice, in memory of Gerry.
