Karen Hutter Obituary
She was born Nov. 28, 1964 in Willoughby.
Karen was a homemaker, who enjoyed cooking and was known throughout her neighborhood as being a great cook. She was a graduate of Eastlake North High School Class of 1983. She enjoyed bowling, talking and decorating.
Survivors include her husband for 27 years, Russell W. Hutter; sons, Cory and Connor Hutter both of Mentor; parents, Boyce and Donna Matlock of Eastlake; siblings, Debbie Mocnik of Cadiz, Patty (Kenny) Drost of Cleveland and Kenny (Lindsay) Matlock of Willowick; nieces, Jessica and Brooke; and nephew, Eric.
Preceding Karen in death is her brother in law, Joe Mocnik.
The funeral service will be 1 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 3, 2014 at Brunner Sanden Deitrick Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 8466 Mentor Ave., Mentor, Ohio, 44060.
The family will receive friends Tuesday from 5 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
Interment will be Mentor Cemetery, Mentor.
Contributions may be made to The Leukemia And Lymphoma Society National Office, 1311 Mamaroneck Avenue, Suite 310, White Plains, NY 10605.

Donna, Boyce, Ken and Lindsay: We are so very, very sorry! There are no words to help relieve the pain that you are going through right now. Please know that the journey you are now on will eventually get softer, and one day there will be more hills than valleys when you are able to celebrate Karen's life rather than her passing. I am deeply saddened to hear of Karen's passing. We spent so many years as kids laughing and having great times. I have the best memories of her. Karen was such a spirited person. My deepest condolences to the entire Hutter-Matlock family.
