Mary Bosco Obituary
Mrs. Bosco died Feb. 3, 2011, at Mt. St. Joseph in Euclid.
She was born Nov. 18, 1912, in Cleveland. Mary lived 13 years in Mayfield Heights, previously residing in Eastlake.
She was a graduate of Immaculate Conception Catholic School in Cleveland and Ursuline Academy. Mary was a member of St. Francis of Assisi and a founding member of St. Mary Magdalene Catholic Church. She volunteered her time in the Isabella Guild of the Knights of Columbus and the Alhambra Mahdi Caravan. She also belonged to the Legion of Mary and the Irish American Club, along with assisting at Villa Angela and St. Joseph High Schools.
Mrs. Bosco formerly worked as a buyer for May Company and also as an administrative assistant for Bosco Plumbing and Heating.
Mary was very dedicated to her family and her faith and also took time to enjoy Cleveland Indians and Browns games.
Mary is survived by her children, John W. (Becky Milia), Virginia M. (George) Hollis, Donna M. (Kevin) Tobin and Marybeth; grandchildren, Michael and John D. (Lisa) Bosco, Steven (Beth), David (Melinda) and Mark (Rachel) Hollis, Lisa (Stacy) Caron, and Sarah, Timothy (Gina), Megan and Brian Tobin; 17 great-grandchildren; sister Margaret Hutchinson; and many nieces and nephews and great-nieces and great-nephews.
Mary was preceded in death by her husband of 49 years, Dominic D.; parents, Stella (nee Foster) and John E. Toner; and siblings, Claire Brooks, Judge John J. Toner, Loretta Toner, James Toner, Geraldine Toner, Virginia Toner and Estelle Mahon.
The family will receive friends to pay tribute to and celebrate the life of Mary on Sunday from noon to 5 p.m. at The DeJohn-Flynn-Mylott Funeral Home of South Euclid, 4600 Mayfield Road (just east of Green Road). Burial at All Souls Cemetery in Chardon Township will follow the Mass.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Mary's memory to Mt. St. Joseph Nursing Home, 21800 Chardon Road, Euclid, OH 44117.

Sending our love and deepest sympathy to all of you in the loss of your beloved mother. She was a beautiful mother, grandmother, sister and friend. I will remember her laughter, friendliness, friendship and love. God Bless her as she sits in God's open arms and God Bless all of you as you mourn her passing. She will be in your hearts forever.
